Winter Fun Math

Now the Christmas is over, we can finally focus more on the fun side of the winter - snow, snowflakes, snowman :) (though there is almost no snow here we can still have a lot of fun with snowy activities - it's winter after all.)

Here are some ideas from our winter Math Unit. If you like most of the activities, you may find the whole unit over at our TpT Store. Or yo can just borrow some of the ideas :)

Here we measured things using snowflakes. It is so much more fun than centimeters.

Then we did some fun rhyming problems. I love it when kids can practice Math and Literacy at the same time.

Some different ways to represent tens and ones. It is fun when the tens are snowballs. Then the ones are single snowflakes.

We will be giving this (and some other fun stuff) in the upcoming giveaway tomorrow. HereWhich is my cloud? I made the question outlined so kids can also color it and practice some spelling.
