What does the process of reading involve? Though we have answers to that, there are certain cases that make me search for more and more ideas about helping kids learn to read.
Songs are one of the things we use diversify reading practice. And in particular, songs that have the lyrics on the screen.
You don’t need anything special to use these songs other than the internet and a screen to play them. However, sometimes I may pre-teach some of the vocabulary with games or centers. Or use a particular song that matches the vocabulary on which we are focusing at the time.
